So I'm taking a few classes at the moment and there are only a couple weeks until the quarter ends. I've done some group projects with some of my classmates and have gotten along with some of the people. They are pretty chill and I would like to keep in contact but its unlikely that we will ever have a class together again.
Would it be considered fine friend requesting them on facebook now or should I just wait until the quarter ends? I prefer to not sound like a "creeper" or make it awkward if they decide not to accept my request but at the same time, I don't want to make myself look bad by waiting until the quarter ends and make it look like I am stalking them.
What do you suggest I do? Note: There is only one or two guys I would friend request with everyone else in my group being girls 🤨

You're overthinking this homeboy. When I was still on Facebook basically everyone in my school just added each other regardless of if we even talked in real life lol. It's a social platform. go for it, if they think you're a creeper for adding them on facebook they're probably assholes anwyays

Alright :P Most of the people I hangout with are at least in their 20s while these classmates are in their teens. I sometimes forget what is considered acceptable with my own age group xD

This happens to me quite often where we do peer review or I meet someone in class and just based off my first name the day after I receive a friend request from them. I chuckle a bit but its only facebook after all. As the second poster said you're overthinking it abit
Sure - I think you are overthinking it too much. I have friends on Facebook that are people I have never even met before back when I used to add every single person that was recommended. Just add them, they won't think anything of it.
I'd see no problem in that, they're your classmates and it makes sense that you guys would be in contact...
Sure if you don't talk to them normally it may be a bit awkward. People from my college, not even in the same class as me, send me friend requests.
If you're lonely like me it's always nice to think that someone wants to atleast be connected with you ✌
It would be fine, I got people on Facebook that I went to middle school with >5 years ago with and didn't really talk to at the time.

I've found that when people I somewhat know from around campus add me, I don't think too much about how they found my profile. Probably just similar friends, that sort of thing. Just do it, it's not that big of a deal.
