How LTC could pose a serious threat to BTC

Now this might unrealistic at first thought but let's look at the reasons.

1. Faster transactions

Let's be honest here, how many times have you waited many hours and even days for a bitcoin transaction to confirm. Litecoin transactions take an estimated 2.5 minutes. If a big company was to make transactions using a cryptocurrency, would it use a slow coin that takes hours to confirm making them lose a lot of time waiting thus losing money or would they use a much much faster and dependable coin?

2. Bitcoin is getting old

The technology of litecoin is new and advanced. Bitcoin was the first crypto coin when the technology was very new and it was experimental. Litecoin, launched in 2011, is much more advanced and gets updated with new technology more frequently. Plus, Litecoin is open-source.

3. SegWit

Around a week ago, Litecoin enabled SegWit, which opens up more doors for innovation. This continues to be a weak point as it's very unlikely for Bitcoin to enable SegWit.

What LTC currently misses is exposure.

I still can't find the part in the thread where I said Bitcoin isn't open-source.

Depends. Now would be a good time to invest but 4 days ago when it was pumping wasn't.

You sold. You lost.
Do not follow trends if you are late.
nah ltc offers nothing
btc is slow because of the volume
ltc could not handle the same volume btc has
I've been thinking about putting some into ltc just because of how much btc is annoying me lately.
Small transactions = Litecoin
Big transactions = Bitcoin.

This is how it will fix the problem.

God has spoken.

Totally agree with this.
Do I pay redbulls with 100$ bills ?

Same thing happens online.

Depends on the level of autism of the user.

Using ltc for this does make a huge amount of sense though. More just need to catch on and adopt it.
