Python

Python send/receive whatsapp Android

So what i was thinking,
If i buy a second sim for my second phone and leave it on my desk.
i send custom commands to it on whatsapp, and it send things like the weather back and/or does some action, like on my computer start a game or takes a sceeenshot and send it back.

How would i go about this?
I want it for free, and program it myself so i have max customizability.

btw i got som free simcards
you could use a raspberry pi with a sim reader or an arduino, your choice. but i think it would be easier to make a small server on your pc and communicate over the internet with your phone.
If you want to use the rpi/arduino then you also need them to communicate with your PC so: phone->arduino/rpi->PC
You could use this on a server or a rPi so you wouldn't need any additional hardware, just a phone number: https://github.com/tgalal/yowsup

It's a python library for Whatsapp.
Whatsapp and third-party apps/bots don't get along very well. Unless you really need Whatsapp, I'd look into other applications like Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Slack etc.
Thx for the telegram suggestion! atm its working out pretty good
