New Overwatch Player Looking for Help

My name is Editorial I have recently downloaded Overwatch for the Xbox (where all my friends play) I have had the game for the PC and i made it silver.

I was wondering if there were any experienced players willing to coach me for free or a small fee. If not could people give me tips below

I would like to know what heroes to play to climb the fastest and how to play against different heroes etc

Many Thanks

If you are looking for ways to expand your skills in Overwatch there are many videos on youtube that you can watch designed to help you improve your skills.
I hope this helps, and best of luck.

There are no certain heroes that will climb you up the ranks the fastest. I suggest getting really good with at least two healers, two tanks and one dps. This way, it readies you for comp for most circumstances.

Thanks will do
It really depends on your playstyle. Personally I'm a carry type of player and I want to be in control of getting picks and making plays. My main Heros are Genji, McCree, Hanzo, and Zen.
I was top 500 s1 and ranked high diamond last season because I only played 10 games last season on console.

I would recommend finding your playstyle and what role you want on a team and to for sure learn at least 2 healers, 1-2 tanks, and learn a lot of dps.
For your first hero to learn, I would recommend Soldier 76 if you've ever played CoD before. It will feel similar. I would also say stay away from Symmetra and Widowmaker.

A few tips for just xbox, torb is really strong on some maps because turrets are much better on the xbox version.
Mercy+Pharah combo is really good on console since there isn't many good McCree or Soldier players and it's harder to aim with a thumbstick.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Junkrat is best imo when you sit back and spam chokes and sometimes mine jump over things to flank and make good use of trap, but overall junkrat isn't a super aggro hero.
Reinhardt is a super good hero to learn. You can play aggro with your team to back you up or play defensive.

I would recommend picking up Genji so you can make super aggro plays and get first picks quite often. Dva is another good tank if you want to just be annoying and aggressive.

oh and tracer is a really good flanker.
There's lots of YouTubers who make coaching videos for different heroes, I found Unit Losts guides to be really helpful!
Be my support cuck and I'll get you into masters.
