I think that crypto currencies all around are fantastic applications of mathematics. DAGs and blockchain technology are both things that can be applied to anything in our lives.

I feel like this thread has been undervalued so I'm bumping it and reminding you all to share this video with your family, friends, and community as best as you can. People are still calling bitcoins worthless because it doesn't offer anything. Educate them. Help them get their heads out of their asses. :)

I hope blockchain technology will be the beginning of the end of super-huge centralised companies which acts as middleman to every human activity. Maybe in the peer to peer world, we can trust one another based on blockchain. May turn out better than trusting a brand for our day today needs.

I find analogy to how wikipedia became a trusted entity despite not from a strictly centralized org.
