[Solus] Screen Tearing

Hey, guys. I'm going for a very specific look for my PC, and Solus GNOME basically comes with the look right out of the box. But I'm dealing with screen tearing. A lot. So I was wondering if I'd be better off keeping the GNOME desktop with Compiz to fix the screen tearing, or re-roll on Budgie with Docker.
I'll assume here that you are using Intel graphics..

You could add this line in your Xorg.conf file.

Option "TearFree" "true"

It goes inside the Devices section.

Example..

PHP Code

<?php
Section
"Device"

Identifier  "Intel Graphics"

Driver      "intel"

Option      "TearFree"    "true"
EndSection

Intel HD 500 graphics. I'm reinstalling at the moment, I'll give this a shot when it's done.
