Graphics Processor

Dual graphics for dual reasons

Context: I want to build a computer system, for now i want to start with a single rx vega 56 for mining, and addig others down the road.
Question: while i will have the vega 56 for mining, i wanted to add something like a nvidia gt 1030 (or rx 560) for casual gaming, i want to know if it is (easily) possible to launch a game with a specific graphics card (because in my laptop i do have a choice to open a program with a specific gpu) , and mine with a specific graphics card. I worried it will get mixed up or that i wont be able to choose. Also let me know if you have some other idea. (buying another pc just for gaming is not an option for me, budget wise.)
Some things are just different with laptops. Manufacturers know you're going to use the touchpad and function keys. So they plan and develop to make those controls as accessible as possible. Just like the the switching of the graphics cards in laptops. Whereas with desktops, they have little to no demand to do that.

You can install all the GPUs your motherboard and PSU support. To switch between them, simply toggle on/off the appropriate drivers and then reboot.
It's quite easy to select between graphics cards to use for an application especially games. Not sure I would recommend buying a single GPU to mine with as it will take over a year to get your money back, but the choice is yours.
