Hi everyone.

Yesterday I posted a thread on Buyers Bay asking for "Leads&DB's".

Right away Mandarin which is a reputable Uber, messaged me and offered to sell me up to 1m leads and gave me his contact details.
I replied that im indeed interested in buying the leads he has to offer and asked for a price, he replied with an approximated price and we continued to skype.
I then agreed to the price and we closed a deal, $400 for 500k leads. he said that he will send the files in 2 hours, I sent the money and he never replied again, vanished into thin air with $400 BTC. 

I trusted this guy based on his 164 positive Uber reputation,without a single negative rep.

Reputation is the only thing i cared about. If he gets the leads by "black hat hacking" or any other way is the same for me.
The title can say whatever, if a user has bad reputation thats a warning sign, clean reputation insures confident in users like myself. Obviously false confidence.

He have few DWC (Deal with caution) reputations from some members.

I guess my approach is too Naive. I didn't think one will risk his HF account of 6 years with all positive reputation just for $400.

Bringing new money into HF is not a problem, at least from my point of view.
Taking care of scammers and making sure they won't have a way of scamming the next person is the solution in my perspective.

You would still have $400 if you would've used middleman
