Various Fixes Made This Week
Omniscient has steadily made fixes to the newly upgraded forum this week. For starters, he squashed a bug with the IP login history feature that has been occurring since May but had gone unnoticed. You can read more about it in his thread here. He also disabled the feature where group owners were receiving email notifications every time a new member applied for a group via User CP. The last fix we'll cover is the YouTube MyCode tag used for embedding videos in posts, which is now fully functional. You can follow Omniscient on his journey via the HF Features Broken thread.

New Navigation Menu
If you have been browsing Hack Forums this week, you will notice that there is a new navigation menu at the very top of the page. This was added after the removal of Omniscient's previous hamburger menu experiment. This new menu is another step toward his goal of making the forum mobile-friendly.

Wiki Link Added to Navigation Menu
A link to the official Hack Forums Wiki has been added to the navigation menu under the Help category. This is the first time since Omniscient's HF Writers Group and Wiki DELETED thread that members receive any additional news on the Writers group. With the link being added to the navigation menu, we assume that the Writers group will make a comeback.

Nice release, thanks for sharing.

I appreciate the HF news and hope it stays around. Just curious though, is 1,000 posts really notable now?

As far as I'm aware it has always been.

Nah. It's still an accomplishment. More so impressive is that I didn't realize you've only been here a short time. Hopefully you stick around.

Thanks man! Appreciate that. I've gotten oddly addicted to this place since I signed up so I definitely plan on sticking around. :)

Love reading the news :) I've read some off the old ones as well just because I'm a fucking lowlife.

Which is why I added 1k to be notable. New members should be rewarded - tho not much of a reward :P
