ey all,

Before you think I'm a complete dumbass, I'm not...Let me tell you what I know/have tried:

1) I have over 50 posts...I can post links so not sure why the images are not working
2) I have tried [censored], Imgur and Postimg websites to upload my image to and grab the link
3) I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Explorer...
4) I have added the direct link into the box after clicking on the "Insert image" icon in the post editor
5) I have also tried taking the forum link from the image site (with the code) and pasting it between the tags...
6) I have even tried adding it via the standard link icon...

It works in the editor but as soon as I click PREVIEW POST, or actually post it live...It just shows this -> [Image: image-link.png] and not the actual picture (or it shows the same text I just mentioned but with a small X icon in front of it, like it's a broken link)

I am pulling out my hair here...Any help much appreciated!!

I think I know what is going on, you are trying to post a remote picture from a non-secured(SSL) location such as http://... try using https://... and see if that works.
If that is not the case, can you show us the BBCode you are trying?

Do your image host support HTTPS? Imgur for example does.

Your code has to look like that. Note the https, not http.

Your code has to look like that. Note the https, not http.

So both of you are absolute legends!!! I was using a non SSL supported upload site...Used IMGUR as requested and worked perfectly.
