Can a customer chargeback after you ship the item

I am working on a reselling company.

www.heavyfire.net

IF someone orders a piece of clothing from me and checks out via PayPal can they chargeback the payment after I ship the item?

If so what can I do to prevent something like that from happening and should I still use PayPal as a payment method?

Thx for your time
Yes, it is possible for them to chargeback.
Yes, they still can chargeback. Normal people don't chargeback frequently though. So even if you do get occasionally a chargeback it won't be a serious damage to you. I 'd say focus on delivering quality and you will be ok.
Damnit thats the worse. I dont think I can trust paypal than I honestly couldn't afford to loose a piece of clothing and not make any money.
In most cases if you get tracked shipping and provide proof of it to paypal staff you can win the dispute.
Can you hear my weed?

I was thinking if I record everytime I put a item in the box and hand it to USPS to ship than I could win every dispute. Doing some research online.

You can trust Paypal. If a buyer is disatisfied, charging back is the least damaging thing he can do to an e-shop. If you focus on delivering quality, you won't get chargebacks. With the amount of methods around on damaging an online shop, refunding an unsatisfied buyer sometimes is in your best interest. Plus, you should make enough profit to be able to afford a 5% chargeback ratio.

You could do that... if the proof is sufficient then PayPal would side with you.

Otherwise PayPal is notorious for siding with buyers.
If u have shipping trucking number u can fight it back
