I won a PayPal Chargeback of a customer Woohoo

So basically for a digital good/service I provided, I got 2 payments from a customer of $100 and $199. After like a month, customer had requested a chargeback from the credit card company. So as soon as I saw this, I said good bye to that money. However, I provided an explanation to PayPal with regards to transactions although I was aware that seller protection doesn't cover digital goods or services. I got the outcome today. I won the case against $199 but I lost the case against $100. It is quite weird how they arrived at that decision given both transactions were in the same nature and given same explanation. In the one I lost, they said seller protection doesn't cover digital goods. In the one I won, they said it is covered by seller protection and I was like what :D But this is the first time I ever won a PayPal chargeback and that is something to celebrate despite I lost the other one.
Highly likely that it was 2 separate card companies.
My discord linked to my account was deleted, do not add me on discord to do deals, please start a contract/send a message!
I won a $4k chargeback like a year ago now or so with the help of the user biggy was quite the accomplishment and amazing feeling as well :D

Shocking to hear about. Good job!
this is so retarded, feeling good about not losing YOUR LEGITIMATE MONEY. How can paypal still continue to piss all over their customers continuously and still not lose them ? Your money is your money and keeping them should not be at the mercy of a cancerous company. Hope you continue to lose them until you learn your lesson and quit using that cancer.
Thanks guys

I know but what can we do really? Most of the legitimate customers prefer PayPal. It can be hard to distinguish the scammer sometimes. There are loads of people losing chargeback cases on PayPal even with physical shipment proof. I'm just glad I could defend some of my money even when my proof was weak as my product was a digital good.

paypal is only cancer if you aren't doing legit business (your crypter is a good example)

i've dealt 6 figures through PayPal within the last 5 years and never had an issue.

Because Paypal offers very good buyer protection. Compare it to some things like Western Union, which has very good seller protection. When a smart buyer looks for items on Alibaba, for example, they look for a seller that accepts PayPal and/or credit cards. This is because they offer buyer protection. A seller would always prefer taking something like Western Union or Bitcoin, but its a consumer's market as they say and Paypal is the best buyer protection around. It sucks in OP's case, but that's how it works. Fraud is everywhere including fraudulent buyers.

you're dead wrong, google it up and you'll see how many have issues. Just because you are one of the lucky ones doesn't mean is a good service. I know friends who never broke a single tos and used it 100% legitimate and got limited for no reason
i know someone who call them, asked them why he got limited and the guy from paypal told him he literary sees no reason why his account got limited and is very strange BUT still can't restore it back to normal hahaha
don't worry, is just a matter of WHEN not IF, for you too
Yeah I once won five unauth cc chargebacks on PayPal for $150 and that was also digital. That was a good feeling, especially that satisfaction of knowing that he went into negative balance and paid fees. Not bad.
Both party wants protection for either spending or shipping. Still PayPal is a wrong choice for business. The only reason OP feels good is simple. He too already knows PayPal is so shitty, so much so he knew from the get go he would loose the charge-back. But someone goto keep part of his money. Lucky you OP.
