It's not wrong. What you wrote doesn't make sense. 

You didn't play Season 7 so naturally you had a fresh mmr and not a Riot set one, for example as if you were Gold 3 in season 6. If you were gold 3 in season 6, you'd end up Silver 1 - Gold 5 in this season. So it is true. This however doesn't apply to the unranked accounts like yourself.

How is it a fresh account? It still has MMR from season 6 it works like that.

Also, if it was an "unranked account", the highest you can go is plat V from 10/0 and no prior MMR.

Not sure if you are both stupid or just ignorant and can't read what Riot posted. Everyone starts lower than the previous season. So if you started P3 you were either unranked previous season or played on a Diamond+ season 6 account.

Thats not true because in Season you can maximum get Gold 1 with a fresh unranked Account.
