Well, it is official I have been here for five years.

Introduction

What a time to become active again. Writers are back, Mentors are back, Red Lions are becoming active again. Divined has taken over half the groups, the crypto scene is insane and a lot of the OG's are still active. I am glad I came back and cannot put into words how much this site has influenced my maturity and my dedication to projects.

Over the course of these amazing years, I have learned so much. From getting help developing Minecraft plugins to crypto and beyond. I have gained many skills through Hackforums and have made many contacts and some I would even call my friends. I registered in January of 2013 but never really got into the site until January of 2014. I was active on the site through to late 2015 and have recently picked my activity back up. In December I had the opportunity to join Influence as a part of their SRPP/Debating division. A week after I was accepted, I worked on the prestige formula with Makaveli The Don as well as xadamx and successfully solved it before the legends Steve and Xerotic did. Early in January, I took over the General Helper division of Influence. I have also gotten the chance to work with Assassin and The Worker on their project Authenticate Magazine. It was amazing the work alongside Assassin before he decided to leave. I have also gotten the chance to become a part of the Writ3rs group to help them with revamping the Hack Forums Wiki Page.

What have I done for the forums?

I have recently started helping users with questions on their business ventures. I have started another Personal Support thread and I am helping users develop better debating and writing skills. I can remember years ago when 143 had their emotional support thread. I spent many years, before Hack Forums, helping out people with personal issues. There have been so many issues that I have faced personally and indirectly that I was able to take my experiences and help those who were/are going through the same problems. I am happy that I was able to find Hack Forums because I was/am able to share my influence on a wider scale.

Being a part of the custom groups doesn't only give you a status and a picture on your profile. It gives you a sense of family. I have been so fortunate to be apart of the many families on the forums and for someone who doesn't have a great family life, it can be a major help when dealing with personal issues. So many members of the site have reached their hand out to numerous members, including myself, which shows the massive amount of generosity they have. I don't think I could ever repay the debt that I have to the site but I will continue trying to get there.

Shoutouts to these users who have made my experience on the forums amazing.

Lastly

I am looking forward to the future of the forums and I hope that I can still be apart of it. I would like to give a special shoutout to the one who has made this all possible. Omniscient, without you, this site would have never existed and the many lives that it has touched would stay unchanged. I admire your dedication to the site and your ability to deal with the bullshit. I know many members have been throwing you some hate over the past couple of weeks but they don't mean it. It is only hard love, we want to the site to improve just as you do. This site has become a home for many users and I hope it will become the home for many more.

Always Learn, Always Improve, Always Progress

Thank you all!
