pink screen laptop Asus hdmi..

ASUS Notebook PC g75ijL (touchscreen)
intel® Core ™ i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59GHz
RAM 8GB
Nvidia Geforce GTX 965m

Just got a new charger the specs, this was a very cheap charger:
input : 100 -240 V ~ 2.5 A 50/60Hz
output : 19V -- 4.74A

My charger that came with the computer:
input : 100 - 240V ~ 50-60Hz 2.34A
output : 19.5V -- 9.32A

The problem that I'm having is ever since I plugged in my HDMI cord to my TV and laptop it's been bleeding pink. The TV shows the screen perfectly (meaning the color) so I know it's a hardware problem. The HDMI did flicker on my TV once, which was scary.
I'm about to open my computer up but I have no idea what I'd be doing except follow YT videos..  😶

I have no idea whether it's bad ports, loose wires inside, or not enough battery power?
Should I take it in to repair?
Have you tried using a different HDMI cable or laptop?
Try a different cable. Also check your drivers to make sure that the refresh rates you are using are both supported when in extended monitor or duplication configurations. I know I've had issues in the past with 60Hz vs. 120Hz panels being linked in software.
I have tried another HDMI cord and the pink screen still persists on my laptop, the tv is perfectly fine and shows the laptop screen like it should be.
Just got done unplugging the LVDS on the motherboard and unplugged a few other things. And it still shows up pink.

Now I'm wondering it's either the HDMI port which I didn't mess with at all (on the motherboard) or the battery.
Could it be the driver updates?
Hi,

If you're running windows 10 and a hdtv monitor.

I had a similar problem only when playing a game.

Found out that the nvidia driver and windows 10 didn't worked properly together. I just had an option to change in the nvidia control panel.
nvidia control panel -> change resolution -> check "use nvidia color parameters" -> make sure it is using 8 BPC mode -> validate.

Aside from that, it's very clear that your new charger does not deliver enough.
Never by cheap important parts, especially when it comes to power.
