best scripting language

hi everyone i wanted to start my career in scripting cuz i really like coding especially everything related to macros or tasks automatization
i know that it depends about the environment but i want to read your suggestions and tell me your experience. Thanks :)
Python is always a good beginner language. I've used it for a while, I personally prefer Object Oriented and the C style syntax, but Python's a pretty good language to code with.
If you want a general scripting language then Python is a good choice.

But if you just want to do macros and aren't interested in programming, you can use imacro or autoit.
If you are starting as a beginner and don’t know alot, Python is preferred. It is a simple and easy to learn language which is one of the best languages out there for task automation.

It can do al sorts of things from web scraping to taking full control of your computer.

I have worked with Python ever since i have found out about it and i love it so much. Definitely will recommend it to you.
and what about AutoIt, JS, BATCH, BASH, VBscript ??
