I'm looking for a TrueCrypt alternative, I want to encrypt an external hard drive with some sensitive files on it. I know that TrueCrypt isn't supported anymore and has some unpatched security issues. I'd use BitLocker but my version of Windows 10 doesn't come with it. What's a good alternative to using TrueCrypt to encrypt devices?

However if you want to encrypt partitions with pre-existing data, you may have better luck with: https://diskcryptor.net/wiki/Main_Page (Mar 29, 2018 10:12 AM)Sheeple Wrote: Stay away from bitlocker, closed source proprietary shitware owned by ShitSoft 👍 Story is that the keys are stored on MS servers. They will hand the keys right over to the feds. Veracrypt is good from what I here.
