Is it possible to unlock an iPhone from a carrier? I have an iPhone I own but verizon won’t unlock it from their network. Anyway to get around this or do I just have an expensive paper weight now?

local repair stores usually do this, around like $40-70 when I last checked depending on carrier/phone model.

What model Iphone do you have?
I have two iphone 7 from Verizon and they are not locked. I gave one to my nephew while he is in school in LA and he was able to change the sim card. You should be able to change the sim card to any carrier. http://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-sa...ing-policy ![]() (May 7, 2018 02:34 PM)Nuworld Wrote: What model Iphone do you have? 👍 thanks

When Verizon bought the 700Mhz LTE spectrum, certain stipulations were put in to place, one of which stated that Verizon LTE devices must be unlocked.
