Hack Forums Ficons Evolved to Sprites
Along with the many other performance and site improvements being made through the collaboration of Omniscient and Xerotic, the newest change comes in the form of converting hundreds of Ficons to a single image and a CSS page that controls them which can be found here: https://hackforums.net/cache/themes/theme10/ficon.css

The image being used can be seen here: https://hackforums.net/uploads/ficons/ficon_sprite.png

Those who have issues seeing the icons correctly, simply press Ctrl-F5 on the Hack Forums home page to fix the problem.

P.S. The recent changes will be in Edition 396

  Interview
Unfortunately, I was unable to get an interview done for this edition. Please expect one for next week's Edition 396.

  Experimental Edition
Like last edition, this edition will be the core sections only. Let us know what you think of these short editions! Edition 396 will return back to normal.

[Crystallize.]

I don’t like this short edition.

[Hydra]

Yes! I can yell at our proofreader. Dude thinks he's a robot (well he is). 👹

Fixed, thanks

[Lrrr]

Great work as usual HF News Team! Nice, short, and to the point.

[Meow]

Well that was.. short. Used to reading much longer editions 😟

[Almonds]

Thanks for the work, can't wait for the next edition.

[Lukas]

Well that was.. short. Used to reading much longer editions 😟

Just wait, brother!

[Wake]

Glad my Podcast made It onto the news.

[Lukas]

TBH these shorter editions are more realistic.
All the bloated sections are nice sometimes, but as long as you include site news, that is good enough.

Next editions are out.
