Police shoot kid and dog in face because dog barked. [Not graphic]

This video fucking annoys me, this cop disregards a child's life all because a dog barked at the police who intruded on the families home. Shot the dog fucking hit the kid in the face somehow I imagine that it was a ricochet or shrapnel of some sort because the child probably would have been dead.

But who in the fucking right mind would discharge their firearm at a dog while a child is sat right behind it, this officer should be fired for lack of a fucking brain, fuck that actually send the fucker to prison... "Attacked by a dog" lol

Dog barks at strangers In his home gets shot? Dog was probably trying to scare away strangers In his house to protect children/family. No words for the police officer either discharged a fire arm right next to a child could have easily gone worse then It did.

I know right, it's fucking stupid just found this article on the case too there is an interview with the girl's mother http://www.kansas.com/latest-news/article207093564.html I think the dog actually lived too that's how bad his fucking aim was.
Oh look wichita is on the news again after fucking up on the swatting incident. This PD has more drama than LAPD and NYPD combined.
New cop, lack of experience, faced with a critical situation, I can understand the officers panic, but none the less, they are suppose to be VETTED for this scenario.

I had a similiar scenario happen in my city, kid lost his life cause he was pissed, cop unloaded an entire magazine on him.

... He was not even a threat...
This is the United States, correct? Does not surprise me. Your police officers are under-trained, psychopathic assholes. So, instead of bitching about some kid who wasn't yours being shot in the face, you should instead become a police officer and join them.

Famous Quote, which is actually true in theory and fact: If you can't beat em', you join em'.
This is what happens when we militarize our police force.

You are not militarizing the police in the states, American. Your government is. You are just a peasant to them, and you should fucking become a police officer. Join them.

Did you happen to read the GDPR agreement page? You need to be 16 or older, otherwise you require mommy's written consent. Troll harder.
This reminds me of when a cop came to my house and went over my gate to knock at my OPENED door 5 feet away to ask me if some random guy who had a warrant on him lived at my house (which he didnt) and my dog barked. The cop pulled his gun and said get him or I will shoot. My dog never left the doorway and was only barking to let me know someone was there. He was the biggest baby ever my dog was. But yeah he was almost shot when that cop jumps my gate to get to my doorway. I also had beware of dogs sign on teh GATE. this video just shows me how bad it could have been and i had a newborn child behind my dog.

It’s hard for people to understand the daily stress police officers go through. They’re expected to protect and restore order. They undergo situations that normal people do not experience, police officers are just as human as you and I are, and have fear and paranoia. If you see real situations where officers have less than a second to make a life or death decision, you’d understand how unfortunate situations like this happen. With today’s society, there’s no telling what people will do especially with how people view police officers as a threat to life, you can thank the media for creating the idea. I'm not defending what this officer did as it was wrong, but will hopefully want people to understand that being a police officer is an extremely difficult job and the decisions they make are usually to defend their life or other's.

This is ufkcing bullshjit, no matter how much cops goes through and shit, this dog did not even harm anyone, all it did was it's job as a dog, if that was an intruder and the dog barked him off or bit him off it'd be a hero.
hahaha biggest and strogest country in the world having these stupid stuff happening daily is just LOL.🤣

The irony... 🤣
Not all are. Sometimes suspects bring the officer's full force upon themselves by not doing as they’re told. Sometimes, though the police do over-react.

My guess is that the questioner is an American from the language used in the question. The simple fact is that many American police are less well trained than police in other countries, have the most impressive arsenal at their disposal and face the most heavily armed criminals. Thus, it’s quite natural for them to shoot too early in a conflict, while other countries' police officers will pursue a peaceful resolution for longer.

That said, some US police forces are much better trained than others. Therefore, where policing is good, the police may behave much more like police in other countries. To put it simply, US police often lack the psychological resources provided by good training and this contributes to the widely held view that they are in the questioner's terms "assholes".

My recommendation is that US police forces should look at police training in Australia, a country that routinely arms its police but tries deescalation strategies before shooting suspects. My knowledge of Australian policing is wholly from fly-on-the-wall documentaries but they have given me the impression of a highly trained, professional force.
