Hi. So another user sent me private messages and we were talking back and forth without an issue and suddenly I got a message telling me I needed to make 25 posts before I can send private messages. I am sure I'll have 25 posts on HackForums soon enough however the question I have is why did it work before?

I remember seeing a post by Omni saying it was intentional (bug?) that he has no plans on fixing. You're fine.

Just found it weird I'm not able to send any more replies to this year. Soon the restriction will not be an issue at all since my post count rises as I interact with this community. Thank you for clarifying :)

He sent you a PM first and you were able to reply. It's a bug but also one I allow since it probably comes in handy for sellers. It does prevent new members from spamming in PMs still so the restriction serves the intended purpose.
