I live in Arizona, its about 85 degrees in my room and our apartment doesn't have AC. We're on the second floor, and the only units that have AC are on the ground level(Which makes no sense to me), Ive had my window AC unit in for about a week to keep everything cooled down and today I got a notice on my door stating if I didn't take it out within 48 hours they were going to evict me for the remains of my lease and I'd still have to pay rent, because evidently thats what was in the rental agreement that I signed.
Sad day :(
Guess I'll be heating up for the rest of the nights for the remains of the summer :(
Also weird thing was last summer I had my AC unit in for about 3 months and they didn't say a thing. Annoying.

Why not just invest in an indoor portable ac unit? They won't know whats going on.
I grew up in Arizona and know how hot it gets.
OP where in Arizona do you live?
The reason I ask is unless you’re living in some old beat up place?
I can then understand why there is no AC.
However every place I lived in or rented all had AC.
It gets to dam hot out there and those 120 degrees days just sucks.

You live in AZ and they don't even provide AC? It's been a while since I lived there, but I thought that unless you were up in the mountains they had to provide you that due to the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act. Aside from maybe investing into a portable AC unit, I'd invest some time into looking into that. I've seen slumlords threaten to kick people out for fear that they knew their rights, didn't end well for the slumlords most of the time.

Probably, but to be honest I have many more choice descriptors for Arizona before I get to that. I have no wish to cross those state lines again, except maybe via train or air if I have to.

oh is that ? is their more of violence in Arizona (robbery or shit ) ?
just buy a fan which adds water while running, its great feeling and its not expensive it also keeps everything cool almost like an ac would

eletric and thermal control meaning you cannot be living in a hot unit to the point where you can die. It' the same for heating. They have to have a working furnace. In the states in the north apartment complexes must have a working furnace.
They would have to provide air conditioning. Either they provide it or they allow you to have a window unit You can make a legal case that the living quarters isn't livable.
4 years ago was the last post on here bud.
I lived in tempe for a couple years, AC is a fucking must
