Contracts and Marketplace Suite Major Update

We have just performed a major update to the contracts system. This update is designed to make the process a lot simpler and also provide a better interface.

First thing, to make sure you have the newest version of the CSS please perform a hard refresh CTRL + F5.

When you visit a contract (or a dispute) you will see the changed design. It includes a new progress bar at the top of each contract that has not been canceled.

Awaiting Approval -> Active Deal -> B-Rating -> Completed

We have removed the "negotiating" phase. At this point only the contract creator can add terms and if a member accepts the contract then they are IMMEDIATELY put into "active deal" phase. We did this to eliminate confusion. The terms can NOT be adjusted any more. If you receive a contract and you are unhappy with the terms then you should decline it. All current "negotiating" contracts have been marked as invalid. If you wish to complete a deal with a member then please start a new contract.

We also added the ability for both users to add an optional payment address. This can be crypto, Paypal, etc. After the deal you can also add a Transaction ID (TXN). This has been done to help member's investigate into disputes and make their own conclusions from better information.

Furthermore we have slightly tinkered the process. A B-Rating can only be added when a Contract is marked as complete by a member. We have also added PM's to be sent out to both members on every contract status change (including a dispute being created). This will hopefully remind members to finish their contracts and save them from having to constantly check the contracts page for updates.

There has been many other random small changes/improvements as well. If you notice any issues or have any further questions/suggestions feel free to post them.

BTW Vitani has a very nice thread that will be posted shortly that goes into much greater detail about the contract system. It includes screenshots and informative FAQ type data.

Looks nice, I am sure this will help a lot of members from getting scammed because the contract is never put into active deal. Thanks!
I like the attention the Contract System has been getting. :)
Nice little update.

Should help a lot of the new users!
Fantastic job done Xerotic your ideas are brilliant . Nice improvements especially the Active deal phase.

If anyone closes the main thread for the deal , the contract wont be closed right ?
What about if someone do not want to post his payment proccess info like his crypto wallet or Paypal info?

Could we still do our deals without the need of show things we do not want to share with others?

Its mainly needed for the deal dispute validation . Its request for our good .
Crypto wallet would be fine , but for paypal email you can open for private contract so your personal info can be hided to public until its disputed.
