OpenSSL or Schanel for SSL

Trying to setup some SSL on a socket connection for a RAT. Anyone used Schannel before? Or recommend using OpenSSL? Seems like OpenSSL documentation sucks.
OpenSSL is the way to go in my opinion, what have you tried with these libraries so far?
Getting Started: C/C++
[C/C++/.NET/x86 ASM - Automation Programmer]

Hmm I never used that feature. Which RAT are you working with?
I wouldn't use OpenSSL, it's too bulky and there are better libraries now. I use ARMBedTLS.
Coding a rat with openssl is way, way too bulky. Use winapi, no need for external libs.

Any good documentation on it or examples?

Search winapi wininet http request, still not sure why we need external libs for malware

actually we do in some situations. especially when you are not rooted in a particular aspect of programming.
am not a fan of external libraries most my code is not based on it, but i got stock when i was coding a licensing system so opted in for external library. thats it.
i would recommend openssl
#c/c++# & #asm#

The way to patch bad code is to remove the bad code, not to add new bad code that hides the old bad code
