Not really, there are a lot of other reason to be a "blackhat hacker" and not every blackhat hacker hacks people..

that’s actually a really good question. In a sense it is very disconnected but you have to have it in you to do the things you do.

They're not sociopaths. If they're any good at hacking they're probably pretty intelligent. Really smart people's minds work different than normal peoples though.
