Payment Reversal $550 - Hackaroni 139627

Here is my contract with him: https://hackforums.net/contracts.php?act...e&cdid=300
My $467 worth of BTC for his $550 in PayPal.

All was fine for a couple of days until about 7-8 hours ago I recieved an automatic payment reversal. I've never had this happen before. There was no chargeback, just the money gone and said that the reversal was complete.

After waiting for 8 hours, I decided to do a forum search and what do you know..
7 hours ago the same thing happened to this user: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5899766
He also told this guy the same thing telling him that he will get him his bitcoin in 6-12 hours. Yeah.. okay.

I assume he took my BTC, "sold" it to this user but then just made off with all of the cash.

This is what his wallet looks like. Seems like he's just been going on a rampage here taking everyone's shit.

I know he's already banned but I just wanted to make this anyway to ease my mind about it. A part of me hopes he's a man of his word, but I'm sure he will just make off with all the cash.
That's sucks! I never use Paypal anymore but I don't see how it was reversed so quick?

This is why I don't use Paypal and why I'd never accept it in a deal.

I seriously have no idea. There was no chargeback. I was logged on doing an exchange about 30 minutes prior to that. I log back in to check on my PayPal and I see that the money is gone.

The only thing that would make sense to me is either it's a stolen Paypal account or he directly called Paypal claiming his account was hacked and they manually reversed the payment.

Well, the PayPal he sent it from is indeed verified. Yet, on the other deal dispute, the user who got scammed by Hackaroni sent his funds to a completely different PayPal account. I'm not really entirely sure how this reversal happened.

My best guess is that https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id57770936 this guy charged back the payment he sent to Hackaroni for the bitcoin and then it reversed the payment he sent to me to take the funds and send them back to him? I'm not sure. It's confusing.

If Hackaroni had a verified Paypal why would he have the other guy he scammed send it to a different Paypal? that's quite strange.

Even if the other guy reversed the payment on Hackaroni it wouldn't make any sense for Paypal to reverse a payment with someone else just to balance the account.

Have you called Paypal and asked them what happened?

You're right. I'm just fishing for answers tbh.

I'll end up calling PayPal tomorrow and asking what happened here. I tried to bring the case to the resolution center but it says that this transaction is not allowed to be reviewed. Which is also weird..

"this transaction is not allowed to be reviewed" That is strange, perhaps it's under investigation. I haven't used Paypal in quite a while so I don't know why that would be.

I would call Paypal tomorrow and demand an answer.
Can you send me his Skype? I also received a chargeback.
Pm me his skype he scammed me as well.

You scammed me $20 lol smh
I really don't understand how users can deal really high amounts of $ via PayPal with untrusted users.
I used to be able to. Back in 2015/2016 I had no problem at all.

This guy is a serial scammer. Looks like he buys or steals (probably buys them) and waits 1-2 months for Trust Scan to clear before he scams.

On Sept 11th he enabled Gauth to secure the account. Before that the account was not secured.

Here is some associated IPs:

Another account he got in September, probably waiting to scam but found it and now he's closed too.

I'm sure the emails are bullshit one-time usage for the scams but may as well post this info.

I'll post all I can about this. Hopefully someone can find a way to fuck this guy over.
First email looks like a throwaway.
