How to avoid making careless mistakes

I'm sort of frustrated in school right now. In my math, I'm really struggling on tests, not because they're hard, but because I make dumb mistakes. I know how to solve the problem, but I make FUCKING DUMB mistakes like saying 15 * 6 is 30. I do this in all my other classes, too. In science it happens some from not reading the full question and directions, but that is an easier fix. In math, it's not that that I'm not reading the question or I legitimately do not know, but rather I am making simple mistakes. Any ideas on how to stop this? It's hurting my grade.
Are you experiencing anxiety at times where you make the mistakes?

Not really. I'm a little bit anxious, as I am for every test, but by no means would I call it full-blown anxiety.

Is it a timed test against the clock

We have a time limit, but there is no advantage if you finish early. I don't think I'm rushing on it.

Well im sure you practice at home right? Do you make mistakes on that homework too.
After you answer a question move to the next, but when you have that one solved go to the previous and double check it with a fresh mind.

A little trick I learned in school is to do this for the entire test/quiz rather than just going with it.

This does help too actually. Some of my professors told me to do this actually.
My advice is to think before you speak! Do the math in your mind, and practice.
Just do the entire test, then go through it again and recheck all of your answers. Be really verbose with showing your work on math and whatnot so you can verify you did everything properly.
Definitely agree with everyone above, do your test normally and take your time. Try your best to finish at least 5 minutes before it's time's up and check all of your work and answers thoroughly .
You can try some tips here:
