Does my laptop consume more electricity if I run more things on it?

Its probably dumb question, but I always run laptop on lowest settings and 'Energy Saving' mode lol.

Will it cost more electricity if I run it mode "sport' with 'high perfomance' enabled? (these are MSI laptop related settings)

or if simply run more things on it?

Or laptop consumes same amount of electricity no matter what
If you run it on 'High performance' mode or 'Sports' it will use more electricity.

No but that's how power modes are generally made in all laptop.

Energy Saver = Less electricity but less performance
Normal Mode = Balanced
High Performance Mode = High electricity but high performance
Well your battery won’t last as long so you’ll need to charge it more meaning you’ll use more power
Probably if you run some high graphic games and such.
Think of it like this. If you have more process's open, you'll be using more CPU/GPU and RAM. The more of that used, the faster your battery will drain. Especially if you have some sort of hectic cooling system

If you don't have a battery, itll just be draining direct power
