My laptop monitor got internally cracked. I grabbed the top end (the monitor) part of the laptop to pick it up.

I saw online where I could buy the entire top half of the laptop. I also saw where I could buy the LCD screen.
I'd prefer to buy the entire top half. So I'm just confirming with someone with experience before I buy the wrong thing.
