Why do some exchangers sell their bitcoin for paypal at 1:1?

Cryptos are worth more than fiat, why would someone sell his btc at 1:1 rate?

It's not really worth more than fiat.

But yes, I don't understand why anyone would sell BTC for PayPal at a 1:1 rate, because PayPal carries a huge risk. Only thing I can think of is it they want to avoid it going into their bank account due to them not paying taxes or declaring the income.
Maybe they can get btc without fees or very small fees. I was able to get btc using paypal with around $.3 fee (standard fee for all amount) I think last year. But the wallet provider seems to mess it up and when I try to purchase btc, it just reloads on the site and never proceeds on the purchase phase so I can't get btc with paypal anymore (the wallet provider lists it as working tho even if on my side it isn't).
Which exchanger sells their btc for 1:1?? I’ll take it all lol

Or are you talking about the one time people who let their btc go at 1:1?? They let it go because they’re cashing out or they need the PayPal for whatever reason. And theycant be fucked waiting to sell it at +5-10%.

But yeah you get more for letting it go at 1:1 PayPal than selling it to blockchain or coinbase and getting hit with their 3-5% fee to go from btc -> fiat.

Yes, I am talking about occasional exchanges or people that don't have a currency exchange service thread with thread designs, instructions and all that stuff.

It's like coinbase I think, but in my country, it's coins.ph.
If they have too much and need a quick exchange, I could understand why they'd be willing to do 1:1.

I sell it 1:1 for cash but before i do exchange to my pp 15 % and then gaypay limited me.
I think I see some who really wants a fast transaction. They're not a trader, just someone to have a quick btc to paypal (vice-versa).

90% of the time I do 1:1 just because I cba waiting.
That's nothing mate
I had one guy that was paying me 60 € BTC for 50 € PP, he needed the PP to make some hosting purchases and was buying from me daily lol
It all is offer&demand, if you have lot of BTC and you want to sell for it for Paypal is up to you to sell for 0% or 15%.

Maybe the "exchanger" collects information of the buyers such as ID & selfies and restriction on specific countries, then they sell you for that rate because they seem convinient, you never will know. Another scenario could be they wont declare tax and instead to bank they hold in PayPal.
I'd assume that their funds is dirty, thus they want to get rid of it ASAP.
Some people are willing to pay a price for a fast trade.
Better off accepting 1:1 from a trusted member than accepting +18% from a fairly new member and getting charged back 5 months later
