Trying kalilinux on usb

it is wort trying kalilinux on a bootable usb stick? or should i try using it on a virtual machine?

First post on this forum too 😁
I would imagine a bootable USB would be ideal as you could pretty much use it anywhere.
This signature is for sale.
Totally up to you. If you're setting up a USB you'll need a persistent storage partition so that changes you make get saved. VMs are annoying if you intend to do anything network related.
Can you hear my weed?

cuz it's loud

Yeah, thats why im doing it hehe

is 128gb enough?
You can boot the live disk with persistence mode right off the hop. Then once you are in type in
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
gparted
Then change your disk to use full USB.
Only have to do that one time then anywhere you plug that stick into will bolt right back to where you left it.

Hope it helps.

That helps a lot m8 thx for the tip
I use it in a virtual machine. Having a live USB would work perfectly fine too.
