I know it wasn't the intention of omni or staff, but the tutorials section of HF has turned into a pile of shit with idiots posting very quick guides they spent 3 seconds on, with basically almost nothing to do with hacking. Things like how to set a proxy, change user-agent, etc.

I'm not gonna call anyone out cause I understand people just want the award and aren't posting with malicious intent, but its annoying as shit. I was gonna write some of my own tutorials as well but as this point it would be drowned out by people spamming 10 LQ threads in a row.

Not even sure what to suggest doing, but at least some type of limit of threads per day/week/etc would help at least slow down the spam.

It could be argued that the following threads aren't even hacking:

[How-to] View your own WiFi Password in windows 10 (No tools)
[How-to] Enable GODMODE in Windows 10

An example that is a tutorial on hacking would be something like this:
(Kali Linux Tutorial) How to scan for open ports with built-in Metasploit Scanner

Exactly this one, I'm not here to argue about that, but it looks like Hopsin had no effort in doing "tutorial" at all, he just made 10 threads in a row just for the award, now see him only lurking on this section

Maybe a character requirement would fix the issue? Just so you can't simply types 4 sentences and call it a tutorial.

I wouldn't exactly call them "hacking tutorials" but they are just fine imo.
I can see them being helpful for many members.
