Lenovo E585 & Kali USB Stick

I've a rather stupid question.

But first of all, sorry for my bad englisch - Secondly: I made a USB Stick with an Kali Linux via Rufus.

Now ... I know that there are some issues with Lenovo Laptops & Linux in generall caused by the Firmware bug ACPI IVRS table and I thought I could probaly find a fix for it / change the GRUB2 Parameters.

My issue now is: I don't even get that far. If I press F12 while the Laptop is powering up, I get to the point where I can chose the Boot Device - If I chose the USB Stick, the Screens goes black for ~half a second and nothing else [Edit: ... And just shows me the Options again, also: Windows Boot Manager and the various SSD's n'Stuff]. I "can't" press E to change the GRUB Parameters or so.

First I thought I would be just too dumb to create a "Bootable" USB Stick, but he does work on the other AMD Laptop which I've.

So yeah, any tipps/tutorials/advices for me?

Thanks!

Ok, I got it :o
