FOMC Meeting this week... Rate cuts? Market Moves?

The FOMC fed rate cut meeting is coming up on the 31st...

Anyone who is trading regularly should know about this and its potential to move the markets.

anyone making moves around it? I might be day trading a few high vol $SPY calls and/or puts but for the most part looking to open a few positions from this meeting ahead of next month earnings!
I can't imagine Powell doing any rate cut, market is simply too strong right now. Would be crazy to cut 25 bps, let alone 50 bps, when mkt keeps hitting new highs.

I would tend to agree with this, but the president's taunts keep getting more aggressive after each denial. Do you believe Powell will hold strong long enough to see out the president's term(s)?

I may well be wrong, markets seem to think there is a 100% probability of a rate cut..

FOMC cuts fed funds rate by 1/4 point to range of 2% to 2.25% I had a strong feeling that they were going to give to the political pressure. Do I believe that was the best decision long term? Absolutely not.

I am interested in the software/application you're using to see those stats. Would you mind shooting me info in a PM?
