Hey guys wassup
I am trying to install [censored] client cli (this could be any other custom client of any vpn that provides leak protection) into whonix gateway in order to achieve a leak-free vpn connection before connecting to tor , I tried almost everything , I tried the configurations in this article https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Tunnels/Conn...before_Tor and tweaking them but I ended up smashing my head. Some times , It couldnt reach the internet some other I guess there was some conflict between the firewall rules and the whonix configuration that caused the internet to break. Has anyone ever tried something like that and could give some advice on how to set this up or could guide me in any way through all this labyrinth of firewalls , configurations etc. Or suggest any other alternatives without having to run 3 vms one inside another. My goal is this: VM --> VPN running on host OS --> Whonix-VPN --> WhonixTOR --> Internet

Is there a specific reason you are using a VPN before Tor? A bridge might be more useful for avoiding what you are looking to do.

Otherwise, if you are using client cli, you are likely going to be better off using the openvpn cli on the host rather than nords own cli. All you'll need to do is download the ovpn configurations and run them from there.
