I've recently taken over the social media for the company that I work for and would just be great to get some advice from people on how to grow it efficiently :)

We have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all with quite a low following (Under 50)

I started growing through hashtags. The trick is to throw in the lesser used hashtags with the big ones. Instead of #mcdonalds #sucks use #mcdonaldssucks, or something along those lines...

Local small business? Some things I've done is follow/unfollow but do it to the followers of gyms in your area, restaurants etc.

We are mid sized i'd say, do world wide shipping etc they've just never bothered with social media until i suggested it and now they got me doing it
