In an effort lower LQP (Low Quality Posts) and also provide a new way to use Bytes we are introducing PBB (Paid Bytes Bump). For a Bytes fee you'll be able to bump any HF thread you wish. Use the arrow-up icon on the first post of your own thread (cannot bump threads you didn't create). When you buy a bump Stanley will make a new post in thread thus creating the bump.

The Bytes fee will depend on your group.

Vendors - 25 Bytes
Ub3r - 50 Bytes
Everyone Else - 100 Bytes

The effect of this should help us to sink some Bytes and get rid of LQP at the same time.

It seems like a great idea. I'll try this soon!
However, don't you think users with a lot of bytes can constantly bump their thread(s) and might get a chance to evade the Sticky policy and make sure their thread stays on top all the time? This would create competition, and even new LQ threads/services would be on top?

Bottom line, I appreciate this great addition and wanted to share my sheer feedback on this.

I thought I hinted to you not to get rid of your Bytes. A lot of features we add to HF will include their usage. As a matter of fact the next big feature coming will also be Bytes related.

I must have missed that hint! I'm going to work my way back though, as I can see their usage is going to be increased significantly.
