[Mr. Robot]

Some thoughts I have about this episode.

Overall? Great,
Cinematography - amazing.
Story - Great.

Plot points? Not so great.

Let me explain.

1. Elliot blackmails an attorney - the issue? It's for pedophilia. The guy is a fucking attorney. All he has to do is say the footage was doctored and/or he was being blackmailed/threatened already into creating that material.
White rose would have quickly found out and Elliot would have been dealt with.

2. The fake name + E-Corp owned location. Elliot just wants to hack their WiFi which could have been done without entering the building. He would have noticed the jam unless they started it afterwards.
Not only that but they should have checked the guy out before trying to confront him - social media posts or not, they had nothing on him to blackmail him for. They were going in blind. Makes no sense even under emotional situations/circumstances.

They should have also cased the place properly using blueprints and E-Corp records to know who/what/when the place was purchased as well as employees as you might need to SE your way up to gain access.

This show lost me after season 1, I loved it, but S2+ was just so much talk and drama, all I wanna do is see the Gibson get haxxored.

Guy is mentally fucked on drugs while hacking people for no other reason than he can. No intent to blackmail for money -
Tools used in the show do exist however in some cases they breeze over something like one of the BS scenes at a prison where he SEd the prison guard with bluetooth and a USB drop. While possible, it's not as quick and as easy unless literally everything went perfectly.

Otherwise all the tools and software used including things like cantennas are completely legitimate - E-corp a massive company primarily dealing in loans and debt that owns half of manhatten as well as their up and coming crypto currency is a prime target for Elliot Alderson and F-society - however there is another dark force of Chinese mafia style hackers keeping E-corp under their thumb. For what purpose? Well we think we know, but do we really?

Time is ticking.

If that doesn't sell it for you, fuck it - I tried. Don't get me wrong, it's no Dr. Who - so it's never going to be my number 1 however I picked up this username before the show was released the day the first trailer was dropped. Before that I only had 2 usernames, Technocracy and Bandors roommate(from one of his livestreams as a joke)

but turned into a good show.

Nooo... sorry I mean I saw the trailer for the show the day the trailer dropped. I picked up the username based on the trailer and went from there. I don't think there is anything to warn you about - just enjoy the ride and camera work.
