Need Help RTX 2080 TI Acer Nitro Monitor "Input Not Supported"

I have just got myself the RTX 2080 TI and the monitor that I am using with it is the acer nitro xv273k 4k 144hz

I was really pleased with this combination initially and was blazing through 4k content then I had some initial hard drive problems which I sorted out now.

However now when I try and connect with my data cables DP1 or DP2 I get a no input, or input not supportederror on the monitor.

This is after initially being able to boot past the BIOS it just will not go into Windows.

HDMI on its own works fine at 4k 60hz however this is not why I bought the monitor.

I have tried loads of things like completely wiping the display drivers booting Windows in safe mode and using DDU to wipe everything.

Reseating my RAM, reset my CMOS battery this was when I was stuck on the BIOS page and could get nothing to boot.

Tried my old graphics card the 1080 TI and also another monitor...

Any suggestions I am at my wits end with this, oh and also tried reinstalling the display drivers, geforce experience etc etc
You need to plug in both DisplayPort cables and then enable 4k 144Hz in the monitor's settings.

Keep in mind, you will lose Freesync/G-Sync at 144Hz.

I have fixed this issue now im just using one Data Cable and im happy with 4k @ 120hz with freesync/gsync enabled i could give a fuck about the extra 24 fps at 4k lol
