Hello,

Would it be okay if I wanted to buy a 'sticky' in "The Lounge" for a topic that belongs in the marketplace?

I assume I'd post it in the marketplace, then buy the sticky for the lounge.

Just making sure before I spend some cash on another sticky :-)

You can find your answer in the Help Docs.

Paid stickies are exempt from the requirement to be on-topic and we allow paid stickies for Marketplace threads outside the marketplace while it's a paid sticky.

Paid stickies are the only exception for sales threads located outside the marketplace. You should always post your sales thread in the marketplace first. Then, the sticky bot will automatically move your thread to the desired forum for the length of your paid sticky.

EDIT:
Here is the Advertising & Paid Stickies section: Advertising and Paid Stickies
All of your questions will be answered there.

This is nice to know, not sure why I never did this before. I’m going to revive one of my threads with a paid sticky.
