You are most likely tripping, ubers can only +3/-3 and vendors can +5 and combined with uber also -5.
I have no idea if it was different before i joined back in 2018 tho but you don't seem to have been inactive for a long time so you are most likely just tripping.

Found out with 10 seconds of google search with the keywords "hackforums +4 rep 2018" that this was a feature of a usergroup that doesn't exist anymore, the Rekt group.

Probably cos you were in R3kt usergroup which has been removed. They could do +-4.
