If you think about it, people were always social creatures and if you stopped people from socializing then they would feel like they're in jail. But something changed recently and there's a lot of introverts now. I mean they were already a thing since long time, but it wasn't many of them at first, overall percent of population that are introverts kept increasing and now its quite high. Therefore I think you could say that introverts are product of genetical and technological evolution.
