If I was banned from a website, how do I change my IP/MAC address?

If I've been banned from a website, is there any easy way to change my ip/mac address?
Your mac address can't be changed because it is tied to hardware, but it can be spoofed. You can change your ip address using a VPN or a different connection to the internet.

This renews the lease on your local IP address, it has nothing to do with your external (public) IP address. However, this is such an insignificant issue. Use a VPN like Windscribe.

^This.

You need a VPN. I would suggest ProtonVPN though, mainly because I'm bias and made an account generator for it :)
Site bans go on IP, not mac.
Simply use a VPN, if VPN's are banned, get a residential VPN.
as th other friends tell you before brother,is very simple use a good vpn without logs and you have solve your problem. 👍
Here is what my IP address looks like, it has a bunch of numbers and letters in it for some reason. A normal ip is ###.##.###.###

wtf is the problem here?

Are you running off of data like 4G? Rather than an ISP router setup?

I have a hardline internet wire connected into a router.

Check your recent login IP on Hackforums, look at your user CP and tell me if it shows MAC or your IP.

Yeah, but it's the same jumble of letters and numbers, and I don't see any MAC address.

That is your IPV6 address.

It's not strange, it's normal. If you want your Ipv4 IP back as xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, you have to disable Ipv6 in your network configuration like this:

After disabling Ipv6, you're basically always using Ipv4.

If you have Ipv6 and Ipv4 both enabled, websites can still choose whether they use your Ipv6 or Ipv4.

Okay, thanks! I'll try that.

Is a VPN legal or illegal? Are there any free VPN services you might recommend?
