I am a OTR truck driver and been thinking about getting a WiFi hotspot device so I can connect a few devices on the internet while traveling. I was wondering how secure are these devices from 1:Attacks from other users, and 2, how anonymous would this network be even if I used a VPN? Thank you. 🤝

If you want to secure it from other people getting on then change the default password. Make it at least 10 chr and use uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols. That will make most cracking attempts not worth the effort. As for the anonymous side it's depending on what you're doing and if the VPN provider you use logs what you do.

they are not secured, you can easily hack them..
you have to add some special script to make them secure and i have the tool.
and this can be traced no matter what the vpn is, but again the solution is possible.
