Basically that. So I'm a lot closer to 50 than 40, I'm a big beardy guy with a huge heart. I care way too much, and I help way too many people.
I came here because I wanted to find out why anyone would want to hack my website. I run this teeny little charity, it costs me more to run than it generates, but it helped thousands of families with disabled children and adults around the world in really unusual ways, in fact, until others copied what I did it was actually unique.
I don't have much free time, I had to give up my fulltime career in 2002 to care for my two disabled children. I set up a small business and ran it from home, but when in 2006 we had a third child and she was also disabled I just realised I could not cope with the grind. I had a total breakdown and was very sick for some time, but I fought my way out of it.
Fast forward a few years, get youngest off to school fulltime so I had several hours a day in the 39 weeks of school term time per year (minus hospital visits, appointments, time off school sick, it felt closer to 2 weeks per year)...
I couldn't find any help as a 'carer' as people like myself, caring fulltime, are known in the UK. Care-giver I believe is the term used in the USA. So I set up my own stuff, basically, I created my own support networks. Firstly of general carers, then just dads, so I had some guys to hang out with who were not asking why I didn't work, why I didn't get blind drunk every time we went out, why I never had holidays, why my kids were weird... And it just kinda grew. I went against the grain, I did stuff people told me I couldn't do, I made stuff happen with either no money or a lot less than anyone else was spending. Eventually, I ended up running a big charity that I had created from a couple of hundred £$€. At no point did I take a salary of any kind or any expenses, I ensured we had a fantastic paid team but the vast majority were amazing unpaid volunteers.
It took over my life though, and I started to forget what I was meant to be doing - caring for my family. We decided to relocate to somewhere better for us all and far away from the stress I had built for myself, I was rapidly heading towards another breakdown.
In the new part of the country, life was calmer, quieter, but I quickly got bored and looked for things to do that I could turn my skills and knowledge to and that would help others. This drive to help others just wouldn't go away. I was contracted by the authorities to act as a consultant for them and advise on all things 'care' related. This grew to me consulting for the health authorities too, and then some work for the government. I was travelling the country and putting in a lot of media appearances, as well as helping to steer policies to improve lives.
In 2015 I had a strange experience where I went viral in a huge way around the world for trying to get some help for my son. It worked completely by accident, but it was so good, I wanted to grow on it to help others - I wanted to give back. I set up a teeny online project mostly using social media, and it cost nobody nothing. I covered all expenses - hosting, travel, IT, design, back office etc.
No way could I afford a website which would do what I needed it to do, so I taught myself Wordpress. I know that's hardly coding and I was basically cheating, but it did enable me to build what I needed to build. It worked, and it meant I could help a lot more people, all disabled, and their families loved it.
We had to move away in 2018, we were not enjoying the area and had horrible landlords who decided to evict us for no reason. It's really hard to move home quickly, harder as a family, even harder when each child has up to a dozen professionals involved in their lives to help them live their best life possible. We had no idea where we would go, and my mental health crumbled.
Fortunately, a miracle happened. I have an incredibly wealthy relative who decided they wanted to help us and bought us a home. The place we chose was in a different part of the UK, but such a stunningly beautiful place. It needed a lot of work to make it a home, as it had sat empty for a while and was neglected when it was inhabited. That was all paid for too. We are so lucky, I feel so fortunate. My children's future when I am gone has been secured.
Life was plodding along until last summer my website was hacked. It was obliterated, the pages were all changed to link to porn sites, and I couldn't log in. I had been getting help from Microsoft and they had me on their Azure system. They couldn't even restore from a backup as they had been deleted. They took the site offline and refused to talk to me about it. I stupidly hadn't run decent local backups, I had a few, but they were not recent enough, and I was just so angry it had happened.
For a while, I thought about my next move. Eventually, I approached a few friends I know - a guy in Kazakstan who is a talented designer, a few friends in the UK who have run some high profile projects for carers and parent of disabled children, and a good friend of mine in Australia - she is a web developer. I told them all my plans and asked if they wanted to join me.
The little charity was going to grow, no longer 'just' doing what it did, it was going to provide a whole range of help and support for parents and carers of disabled children and adults around the world. Plus, I was going to launch something I had been planning for several years - a club exclusively for dads of disabled children (of any age, kids grow up generally unless they are very poorly of course).
As it was bigger we could attract funding, sponsorship and partnership money, we could invest this in the project. Again, I would not take a thing from it. Then I wanted to create a new web development company as a social enterprise. This will be available exclusively to non-profits and carefully vetted and selected ethical startups. They would have access to some of the best systems available, and a huge support network I have managed to secure the backing of. We can do this for less than pretty much every other company because our profits will ALL be given to the charity to help it grow. By doing this I have managed to secure a lot of support that I can use to develop the web company.
Lastly, I have plans to launch an actual for-profit company, web-based, in a niche we have identified. Once up and running it will hopefully run automagically, with the help of user-generated content. This is me being selfish. If I can make this work I can hopefully put all of my share of the profit into a trust fund so that when I die my children have a chance of a future without worry, all bills will be paid for. It's a long shot, but I'm going to try my best.
However, I need money to get through the month just now, this stuff above is all in development, but I need to get it finished. I need to get some stuff working that a plugin can't manage, so I probably have to find a coder who can do some amazing stuff. That's going to cost a fortune I'm sure.
So yea, why the fudge am I here? I was browsing the site and noticed the beautifully named 'ewhoring' section. And yea I was curious.
I have since invested money I didn't have spare into buying an OnlyFans account and a decent picture pack, although I now think the pack is wrong, so I'm not so sure it will work as planned but that's my stupid fault I guess. I have managed to drive a few people to the OnlyFans page and got myself started, but since then it's been a grind if I'm honest.
I have just paid to have my Snap score bumped up as otherwise, the account looks a bit suspicious. My Twitter is new of course, although I have big twitter accounts they are my own and can't be used, and I am struggling to get any attention there other than my account blocked for tweeting something completely ordinary about coronavirus! My Insta account is new and has zero followers, and I'm now sort of lumbering around the web trying to find men with too much testosterone who might want to follow my OnlyFans account and see vids and pics as I share them.
I see all the wonderful methods for sale on here, but in all honesty, I am out of cash now, and the bills are coming in too fast. It is my fault, I need to work harder I know. I'm not afraid of hard work. I only sleep around 4 hours on a good night as I am up with my son most nights, so I can work late, start early, and I certainly don't lack motivation or energy.
I'm a Mac user, so a lot of the hacking stuff I can't so easily do, though not that I have tried. I'd rather white hat than black though, to be honest. I don't mind getting a guy to pay to see pics and vids that aren't mine, that's ok in my opinion. I'm not overly keen on asking for gift cards, I really want to try to channel some good traffic. If I could find a decent chat source that would be a start. If anyone fancies giving me a bit of a leg up to get going I would be so grateful. I will happily pay someone back if they could help me, I just need to make the money first, and I have zero cash left to play with! I have a small crypto account, that was the risky stash that could make me a nice bit of money so I can buy specialist equipment and pay to have my sons adapted bathroom built, but its tanking, I won't sell as I'm hopeful it will grow, but that's really annoying me just now too!
