Not really sure. All I know is that recently they were updating their website, adding some features so I had to provide my ID since I wasn't logged in a long time as well. Luckily I don't pay taxes since I live in a country where cryptocurrencies are in a grey zone (meaning, there is no rules and you are good to go until further notice)
