I've been spending a lot of time today working on improving HF Convo (and Quick Convo): https://hackforums.net/convo.php

A couple of bugs addressed and being worked on:

• Quick Convo clickable links and formatting done
  


• Convo connection icon status doesn't change fixed
  


• Convo Inbox (left side), limit to 20 convos and include a load more option not done
  


• Convo Voice not done -> potential feature
  


• Convo messages out of order (usually links) fixed
  


• Export convo & connection icon visual glitch fixed
  


• Quick Convo duplication messages fixed
  


• Update desktop convo icon with unread message count & green highlight fixed
  


• /help command to view a list of Convo commands in the convo room added

I was having issues with this one earlier. Thank you for the quick fixes. Much appreciated. Great work as usual Xero.

1) Maybe a pin message feature. Where you can pin a message in the conversation and if you view pinned messages it will take you straight to that message.
2) Another quality of life feature would be if a message is from a previous day there is a line showing a cut/divider off like
with the date.
3) The ability to @someones name@ like in regular posts to link it to that exact person's profile.
4) If you send someone a link to a HF thread/post, it will show a info box right under it displaying the title of the thread and the author.
5) The ability to mark someone a favorite and have their conversation all the way at the top at all times.
6) Ability to invite someone to /Dev/Null: Ports game directly through convo ( would encourage people to play the game more often)
7) Ability to quick love someone through a message from the public convo room.

I still rarely use Convo's, I need to start going back to them instead of Private Messages, fs.

Ahh got you. Well was just spitballing ideas hopefully some of them come of use for you. I also added a 7th suggestion too.
For suggestion 6 can it be done in private rooms too or only in the public room?

I think a simple days left countdown to when convo messages or PMs in general delete forever would be good to know.

That way I know when its most optimal to back it up
