I haven't bought one yet, but I almost did.
I paniced and went to take the firearm test, which is required here in California before purchasing a gun. I still plan to get one in the near future though.

Ah Commiefornia, the state you can buy weed no questions asked (which is awesome don’t get me wrong) but you can’t quickly exercise your 2nd amendment right to bear arms without jumping through flaming hoops and sacrificing your first born child.

I do kind of want to try out the new 6mm ARC at some point though. Probably still a few years away from mainstream availability.
Also just for lols (can skip to 2:33):
I watch this guy and seen this video, that’s a dope weapon. Still set on owning a Foreign AK though.

I didn't panic buy anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if people did buy firearms out of panic. I think some people are always looking for excuses to buy things, especially expensive things like guns.

I went in to the Gun store yesterday and they were sold out of most AR’s and had only 3 AKs on the shelf.
It’s crazy how that sentence can be a mind boggled for someone in a country where defending yourself is frowned upon, no offense at all I just love my guns.

Oh that's a confirmed fact. There have been nearly double the amount of background checks run this year compared to last year for March through May. Coronavirus caused a massive spike in buying, but then rioting caused an even bigger spike in sales. The "defund the police" thing has quickly caused the biggest spike yet pretty much only to rival Obama being elected president in 2008.
November to January will be the largest sales volume of all time if there is a change of president incoming for 2021.
