A few days ago I received my new gun(s). It was quite a hassle with the paperwork and background checks and overall it took longer than expected.
Requested my permit in late June received it now so about 6 months.

In Texas the process is pretty easy, take a class, get fingerprinted, and a quick background check. Took me about 2 months to get my license in the mail. Yet, the license is pretty much useless now other than quick gun purchases and traveling to reciprocal states.

That's very impressive. I can't own any because I am a felon now. So I am jealous
