Litterally, I remember back in the days when you could joke about cocksucking gay people, religious people, terroists, ethnicity, goatfuckers, fat people, ugly people, rich people, you name it. Nowadays it seems like every comedy movie have to take too many precautions when producing the movies, as people litterally get offended for the dumbest shit and then post it on their feminist vegetarian twitter profile with a LGBT cover picture and go viral. Am I the only one feeling this sort of way, or can anyone else recognize this.. seems like people take jokes too personal nowadays.
People have too much free time to get butt hurt about stupid things that don't matter.

God damn it, I trapped myself in my own thread, but I guess you're somewhat right. Although, I personally do miss the old comedy movies instead of this new Netflix bs. with jokes that only would appeal to someone that has lived within a bubble throughout their entire life. I miss the old comedy standup movies with no limits, but I guess it must have influenced society in a bad way.
I think you might be on to something OP. I think the newer generations have this false sense of entitlement, like the world and its people owe them something. Kinda like Karen but younger and bitchier.

It would be a statistical improbability for there to be no Karens with kids. The kids get older at some point, but they don't have to grow up.

You are definitely onto something, I personally think it is this false idea that social medias have created towards every man and woman trying to be 'perfect' and please others by not offending them. Seems like the few people that were incapable of differentiating jokes from reality ruined it for the majority.

Yep. This is my thought as well.
Also, social media and the internet as a whole has changed since "back in the day"

You are probably right, I haven't used my social medias these past 4 years, except for Messenger occasionally and YouTube, so I might have missed whats going on within the social culture of the youth, although I'm not really that old, but I definitely feel older when realizing some of these things.

Believe me, I think it's dumb too. I quit social media for almost 5 years and just started using it again in 2016.

Man, I've seen parents with little kids like 8-12 years old with phones, ON SOCIAL MEDIA, POSTING, and yeah "playing games"... I feel like the younger teens you know 14+ until 18 or 20 just get into drugs and the same old stuff too. We need some smarter people around.
I mean I did some crazy stuff in the past but not as bad as these teens destroying buildings and looting and running people over with a car...It's messed up.

I agree. I definitely wasn't an angel either when I was younger, but at least I wasn't as bad as the stereotypes you mentioned. I don't care about their drug abuse tho, imo. anyone at any age should be able to fuck their own body up if that's what they want, but destroying other peoples lives for a quick snapchat or ig flex just seems retarded. This corona virus got them fucked up.
I sort of agree, i mean i dont see anything wrong with it but i think its being blown out of portion
Somewhere down the line some probably thought it would be Ok or "cool" to whine and bitch about everything (Maybe LBGTQ or someone). Now it's a trend.

Someone had to point it out, I mean their entire parade is just dumb af. As if anyone unlocks special rights just because they identify as a monkey, turtle, or something else. I'd like to see someone create an organization for retarded people, having a huge party on the streets every year, and then ask for equal rights.

Nope, it's just truth.
I personally think it's because of a number of factors. Like 'participation trophies', ever-present authoritarianism or 'big-eyes in the sky', and the effects of social media on very young people. When I was a kid, before the internet was really prevalent, and before there were 'security' cameras everywhere, you learned 'sticks and stones can break my bones, but dirty words will never hurt me'. And when shit got real, guys with a beef could go out back and brawl. A bloody nose and a couple of bruises, and everyone walked away fine in a couple of weeks.
These days, there are cameras everywhere, and people get charged with 'crimes' for hurting someone else's feelings. I remember volunteering for a fist fight in the military with a 'booter' who neglected to mention beforehand that he just happened to be a semi-pro boxer prior to enlisting. Yeah, I got my clock cleaned, but what I remember most was his begging for me not to 'tell on him' and amazement that I was ready to take the licks and accept whatever consequences I might have to deal with after he gave me a couple of fat lips, a black eye, and a knocked-out tooth.
With the advent of social media, we've become an incredibly, unbelievably narcissistic culture that expects perfection from everyone, which leads to people denying to their graves any faults they may have, as well as punishing any imperfections or wrong-think people may have--even if the wrong-think isn't actually a belief held, but is only voiced in jest.
Much of this stems from a lack of fathers in the family, which is propagated by the divorce culture we live in, as well as things like welfare which punishes intact and whole families. Fathers teach their kids the realities of life, rather than an ideological dream world where 'everyone is equal' and no one should ever be hurt--even their feelings. On top of that, we're also dealing with 50+ years of communist indoctrination starting from the former USSR, which has destroyed our educational systems to the point where they are basically indoctrination concentration camps for kids.
The reality is that people are not equal--not in the least. But people can also use other attributes to compensate for their weaknesses, which is kind of what the free market is all about. We've lost the 'Team America' attitude since we've stopped believing in 'real americans' and instead want to hyphenate it with some other modifier, usually something people don't have any control over. The reality is that, unless you're a first or second-gen immigrant, or have some kind of religious or socialist/communist affiliation, you're just an american, and need to act like it. If we would stop punishing kids fighting so insanely harshly, and could get back to believing in the ideology of the Founder's intent, freedom and individual responsibility, freedom of speech, freedom to keep and bear arms, freedom from searches and confiscation of private property without being charged based upon another's sworn affidavit and due process of law--in accordance with the constitution, and saying the pledge of allegiance, we could probably get back there.
But so long as those things are seen as 'offensive' and being 'fascist' or a Not-C(ommunist), and those people proclaiming such aren't immediately shut up and put into place, the beatings will continue. I am proud to be a Not-C, because I am an American. All authoritarians need to be corrected, whether on the left or the right, because this is America, and that actually means something--or it should.
